B Guide Service is a small outfitting
business located in southwest New Mexico. Owned by Wayne Billings, a sixth
generation New Mexican cattle rancher and hunter. Wayne's great, great,
great granddad traveled hundreds of miles to settle this country in the
1870's. After mining, and lumberjacking, with little success, he
homesteaded and started cattle ranching. Wayne's family has been here ever
since, and is still in the ranching business at a large scale.
Wayne has been guiding on the family owned ranch since the age of 15. He
now has access to over 100,000 acres of
deeded land located in 3 different states. Private land is where most of the
hunts take place. He has also obtained special use permits from the Gila
National Forest in New Mexico, and the Apache Sitgreave's National Forest in
Arizona. Most hunts are guided personally by Wayne. When several hunters
are in camp, we arrange for some of the best guides in the southwest. We
believe in taking few hunters for each species. We realize that trophy

Colorado hunting for elk, deer and bear hunts on the world's largest
flattop mountain! The Grand Mesa National Forest is home to one of the
largest elk herds around.
I have been a licensed Colorado
Outfitter since 1985.
I am 52 years
young and have hunted and fished all of my life. With 18 years
of solid experience, 30 years combined experience, I can assure you of a
quality elk, deer, bear or cougar hunt. I cannot guarantee you a
kill, but I will guarantee we will work hard for you. All of my big game
hunts are
"fair chase hunts."
I pride myself as being an honest, licensed
outfitter with having the experience and knowledge of guiding and
outfitting in this great Western state. When you are here on your
hunt, I will either be at camp, guiding, getting supplies or taking your
meat to a meat processor.
All elk and deer hunters will meet at my home on Friday morning around
9:00 AM, the day before your hunt starts. At this time be prepared to go
into camp. All of my hunts start on Saturday and runs through the
following Wednesday. You will be going into camp the day before your
hunt actually starts. This time will give you a chance to get
acclimatized and to get settled in. |

West Central Illinois is known for producing many of
the worlds finest Trophy Whitetail Bucks. APO has prime hunting
ground leased in Adams, Pike, Brown and Hancock counties. These lands
include cropland, thickets, food plots, and creek bottoms. All
properties are quality managed to produce Big Bucks. By not having
dollars tied up in tree stands, guides, cooks, and food; quality hunts
can be kept at affordable prices. Several APO properties border other
outfitters. Why pay $500 - $1000 more to hunt the same deer. Hunters are
allowed to hang their stands at a location of their choice, rather than
being placed in a treestand that probably has been over hunted. APO
will provide you with maps, up to date scouting reports, show property
lines, and walk you through the timber with you until you are
comfortable with the area. All you need to do is hang your
stand. APO offers a true “Hunters” hunt.
Each Hunting party will receive
their own tract of land to hunt. These tracts are divided up in to
40-150 acre parcels. A group of 6 hunters will hunt on an average
of 400 acres. A single hunter will hunt 40 – 100 acres, depending
on the tract.
The 2002 season was very
successful. Seventy percent of APO hunters had an opportunity (
missed, passed, wounded, or killed) at a Trophy buck. See
some of APO kills on the photo page. Approximately 50% of APO
hunters are re-peat customers, some of which have hunted since the first
year in the business.
Hunts are 5 days long, with an
extra day given prior to the hunt, to scout and hang treestands.
If hunters are able to hang their stands early enough, they are allowed
to hunt an extra ˝ day. Re-peat hunters usually get to hunt 6
days, since they are familiar with their property. References are
