year at the Scholastic Clay Target
Program (SCTP) State Championships
It
is
your
responsibility
to
understand
and
practice
the
following
rules
of
safe
conduct.
Take all guns out of case and put them in the gun racks provided. Please leave all gun cases in your vehicle. Your gun and shells are all that you bring to the range.
All guns when on range
MUST
be put on RACK with ACTION OPEN.
Handle and carry shotgun with muzzle pointed in safe direction.
Carry shotgun with ACTION OPEN.
Load shotgun
ONLY
when on your assigned shooting station.
Only 1 (one) shell in shotgun unless shooting doubles or international events.
Shotgun must
be UNLOADED
when changing shooting stations.
In the event of a delay on the trap line due to breakdown, IMMEDIATELY
unload your shotgun. Reload only when the puller advises that shooting may resume.
Make certain your shotgun is unloaded before leaving your final shooting station.
All shells that misfire are your responsibility. You must dispose of them properly.
No alcohol is to be brought on the grounds.
No alcohol on the shooting ranges (trap or archery).
