The Saginaw Field and Stream Club along with the National Shooting Sports
Federation and the Amateur Trapshooting Association will be sponsoring a youth
trapshooting camp. It will be held at the Saginaw Field and Stream Club, 1500
North Gleaner Rd.
In this course we will teach them:
- Gun safety
,
- The sport of trapshooting
- Shotgun shooting techniques.
We will begin meeting in mid March for:
- Registration,
- Information
- Start the safety portion of the course.
Each student will have to have a parent consent form, which we will have the
first day of the class
Each student will have to furnish his or her own gun. (Preferably 12 gauge,
but 16 or 20 gauge will work also)
There will be no charge for targets
We will meet once a week for shooting starting 7 P.M. Thursday, May 1 and
each Thursday evening thereafter at 7 P.m.
The application can also be handed in at the traphouse on Saturdays or
Tuesday evenings or e-mail it to us from our website.
The number of students will be limited, so please get your application in
early.
When we get started we will set up teams that will go Mason Michigan and
compete in the state tournment on July 27. 2002
