The Setting
This wonderful wilderness park in mid-state New York provides
authentic Catskills camping along a scenic mountain lake. Fishing and
boating are perfect here, as canoe and boat rentals are available on
site. It's a perfect vacation for equestrians too, as horse camping is
available, with tie-down stalls at the park.
The Facility
The campground offers primitive sites with no hook-ups; there is a
recycling station but no dump station. Firewood is available, and
assuming no fire bans, can be used with fire rings. While there are no
showers, composting toilets and potable water are available. A full
swimming facility with a lifeguard exists in season.
