GET INVOLVED WITH THE CLUB!
The Club needs your participation.
It will soon be time to elect the
Board of Directors and Executive
Board for another year. The
following offices will be up for
election: President,
Vice-President, 2nd
Vice-President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and 3 Executive Board
positions. Nominations will be
taken in November, election in
December with those elected taking
office in January.
Think about running for a Club
Office. You can
place your own name on the
ballot—you do not have to be
nominated by someone else.
Board Meetings are the 3rd
Thursday at 7 PM.

S.C.T.P.
Betty Bragg proudly announces the
results of the Michigan State
S.C.T.P. championships. Dundee
Sportsman’s Club took:
1. Two 1st Places
in the Intermediate Advanced Entry
Level Divisions.
2. 3Rd Place in the
Junior Varsity.
3. Entry Level Hi-Gun, Junior
Varsity Hi-Gun, and Lady HI-Gun
Runner-up.
Both Varsity Squads did well and
came very close to placing. We
are now getting ready for the
Nationals with five squads going.
If anyone would like to donate to
the S.C.T.P’s trip to the Nationals
contact Betty Bragg at 734-289-2055.

GUN-A-DAY FOR 30 DAYS RAFFLE TICKETS
NOW AVAILABLE
Leo Liedel has raffle tickets for
the September Gun-a-Day for 30 Days
raffle. If you want tickets to
sell or just want to buy yourself a
ticket contact Leo Liedel @
734-755-6803. Any unsold
tickets you have should be turned
into Leo by August 21st
so they can be given to other Club
members to sell.
The
MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
will be held on August 7th
at 7 PM. Come early and enjoy
a beverage and good conversation.
If you know anyone interested in
the shooting sports, bring them to
the meeting to check out the Club.
They may want to become a member.
The
DSC ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST
will be served on August 17th from 8 AM to
12 Noon. Bring your friends—not only
will you have a good breakfast—you will be
supporting the Club. See the menu in
the Newsletter.
HUNTER
SAFETY CLASSES
will be
held on August 11th, 13th,
14th
& 15th. You must attend all
four sessions and pass the exam to receive
your certificate. Registration starts
at 4:30 PM on August 11th.
All classes start at 5 PM and end about 9:30
PM.
Hunter Safety Classes will also be offered
on September 8th, 10th
and 11th.
The
KITCHEN
will be
OPEN
for the HUNTER SAFETY CLASS on August 11th,
13th, 14th and 15th
serving hot dogs and chips. Soft
drinks and other nibbles will be available
from the bar. Alcoholic beverages will
not be sold during the Hunter Safety
Classes.
Our last
SUMMER
STEAK ROAST will be held
August 8th (Friday) from 5 PM to
7:30 PM. $14 for a New York Strip
Steak and $8 for Marinated Chicken.
Also included are salad bar, potato,
vegetable, and roll and butter.
A
VOLUNTEER
is needed to
MAINTAIN THE
CLUB SIGN
that is
located at the driveway entrance to the
Club. Duties included keeping the sign
information current and care of the sign.
This is a good way to earn your work hours!
