Salt and pepper, to taste
Flour
1/2 C. vegetable oil
1/2 C. chopped scallions
1 1/2 C. water
1/2 C. sherry
1/2 C. chopped parsley
Salt, pepper and flour
doves. Brown in oil in Dutch oven at
400ºF. This takes about 1 hour. Add
scallions, water, sherry and parsley.
Cover and reduce heat to 350ºF.Cook
until tender, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Makes a wonderful gravy.
