course
deals
with

to

the

pamphlet;
(the
students
can
keep
the
previous
items);

Describe
the
firing
process.
Explain
the
reloading
process
and
why
people
reload.
Name
and
explain
the
fundamental
safety
rules
for

Shell
Components: Learn
the
proper
nomenclature
for
shotgun
shell
components:
cases
(hulls),
primers,
powder,
wads
and
shot
or
slugs.
Using
the
Reloading
Manual
and
Reloading
Data: Select
a
suitable
load
for
a
particular
shotgun
shell
from
a
reloading
manual.
Identify
useful
ballistics
information
for
a
particular
metallic
cartridge
load
in
the
ballistics
tables
in
reloading
manuals.

Equipment: Identify
the
equipment
necessary
to
reload
shotgun
shells.
Explain
the
proper
operation
and
maintenance
of
reloading
equipment
and
the
requirements

basic
